Do you have experience in software sales? Do you want to work for a company that fuses business experience with great ideas? Our client is currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team based in Germany.

FMC Smart Industry are working with a rapidly growing software company and creator of an industry renowned machine-learning and AI product for the manufacturing and industrial sectors. Their highly sophisticated and intelligent solution provides accurate analysis so that engineers can recognise faults before they occur. They are striving to truly master Industry 4.0 and digital transformation so that their customers can work rapidly, efficiently and with reduced costs across the board. 

 

The role 

As Inside Sales Representative, you will be focused on increasing our client’s customer base and delivering on revenue targets. You’ll manage the full sales cycle and will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing software proposals and negotiating and closing business. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone ambitious who loves talking with people and helping customers to find the right solution.  

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Executing an Account based marketing strategy  
  • Delivering on territory sales targets 
  • Developing growth strategies for existing accounts 
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities 
  • Handling customer records and capture their requirements 
  • Presenting products and services over the phone and in person 
  • Managing your own diary and customer appointments 
  • Providing input into the sales and marketing cycle 
  • Supporting the sales process from business development through to negotiation 
  • Deliver on projects on time and to budget  
  • Ensuring rapid responses to sales requests 
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers  
  • Selling to existing enterprise level accounts

 

The requirements 

You’ll be a junior software salesperson with between 1-3 years’ experience. Other requirements include: 

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline  
  • Experience with and knowledge of complex solution software 
  • Cold calling experience with strong influencing skills  
  • Proven track record of inside sales experience  
  • Knowledge of the sales process proposals and marketing 
  • Understanding of the DACH automotive manufacturing industry 
  • Thrive in a high pressure, fast-paced environment  
  • Excellent research and analytical skills 
  • Experience using CRM system 
  • Desire to grow with the company  
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales targets  
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 
  • Excellent customer service skills   
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

 

This is a role based in Germany, with occasional travel expected for client visits and attending trade shows.
