We are currently supporting an incredibly well-respected, market-leading medical device company that is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in the South East of the UK.

Our client is a dominant market leader in providing solutions that improve medical discovery, diagnostics and delivery of patient care. Their core focus is on making sure healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical providers and industry partners have the innovative technologies to help advance clinical therapies for patients, clinical process and workflow.

The role

As an Inside Sales Representative you’ll be focused on increasing our client’s customer base and delivering on revenue targets. The customer is at the heart of this role, and you’ll spend a large proportion of your time on the phone to prospective customers, from generating opportunities to qualifying prospects, to closing deals.

This is a brand new role for the company as they seek to grow their Inside Sales team and is a great opportunity to make a real difference and further you career in medical device sales.


Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Making outbound calls to source new customers
  • Understanding customer needs and advising on how our client’s products fits with their requirements
  • Identifying account and key stakeholders within them
  • Generating interest in our client’s portfolio of products
  • Expanding prospects within your territory
  • Demonstrating products to customers online
  • Managing quotations and renewals
  • Ensuring operational excellence for the customer base



The requirements

You will have either inside or field sales experience, ideally in the medical device industry. Other requirements include:

  • Educated to Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject (preferably Biological Science at Master’s level)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an aligned sales role
  • Hungry and driven to succeed
  • Confident at presenting and negotiating
  • Confident with outbound and proactive customer interactions
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple projects in an organised manner
  • Analytical and good at problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Good computer literacy skills (including MS Office and Salesforce)
