A well-known surgical devices company are currently looking for someone to join their Inside Sales team to look after their portfolio of electrosurgical consumables.

The company

Focused on developing innovative surgical products that improve patient outcomes, our client develops products for a wide range of surgical procedures, as well as other consumable medical devices from electrosurgical products to single use instruments. They’re known for having a close-knit, family feel which they strive to keep even as they grow which means you’ll be joining a team of likeminded individuals who are passionate about surgical sales.

The role

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced company in a growing team! Our client is developing an inside sales team to promote their range of consumable products. As an Inside Salesperson you’ll look after a portfolio of electrosurgical consumables and will be responsible for all sales activities associated with it. This is a brilliant opportunity to grow sales of this portfolio and make your mark on the role in a company that will support your professional development.

You’ll spend time on the phone engaging with customers, and you’ll be focused on a mix of new and existing business. The majority of this role will be office based but you may go on occasional customer visits. Relationship building is key to this role, so if you’re a great communicator with a drive to succeed in sales, this could be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities include:

  • Selling a portfolio of consumables to current and new customers to meet sales targets
  • Forging and maintaining relationships with key accounts
  • Developing new accounts across the UK
  • Representing the company at events/exhibitions
  • Developing a sales pipeline
  • Preparing proposals and quotations to meet customer needs
  • Working closely with the marketing team


The requirements

You’ll have strong sales acumen and will have a track record of achieving sales targets, as well as…

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent at relationship building
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and customers
  • Strong commercial acumen (ideally in the medical or life sciences space)
  • Experience of analysing sales data
  • IT literate (able to use MS Office suite of products)
  • A positive energy and mindset
  • BD-focused with a drive to grow new business
  • Understanding of business/sales strategy and development
