Job description

Our client is searching for an ambitious Inside Sales Engineer to join their world-class brand in the Midwest, US. This is an excellent opportunity for a high energy individual with experience working with aligned engineering.

The role

As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will work closely with the customers beyond the typical spare parts and reactive service opportunities. You will be the primary contact point regarding customer satisfaction, quoting, executing, and winning campaigns and provide both reactive and proactive support. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Establishing and maintaining contact with existing customers 

  • Generating leads and promoting the sales of products and services 

  • Researching and developing proposals 

  • Updating and maintaining the CRM system 

  • Obtaining customer information and understanding their needs 

  • Creating leads and identifying threats 

  • Responding to change productively  

 

The requirements

You’ll have 2+ years of technical sales and customer service experience, as well as:

  • Degree educated in Industrial Technology or Engineering 

  • Knowledge of oil & gas processing industry 

  • Strong processing skills and experience with electronic filing 

  • Business and commercial acumen 

  • Ability to work independently  

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Prior experience with our client’s product and processes is desirable
