Job description | Our client is currently seeking an Oil & Gas Industry expert to join their team as a Marketing Manager. The role As an Industry Marketing Manager, you’ll bring your business acumen and industry SME expertise to build a commercial plan that will the showcase our client’s niche offerings as a strategic business partner to key accounts. You’ll develop a deep understanding of customer needs to navigate the sales process in collaboration with both Sales and Marketing departments and organise marketing strategies that drive awareness and demand for our client’s IOT solutions. Other responsibilities include: - Implementing activities that align with the case and needs of the individual partner
- Building partnerships in an international sales environment
- Planning and analysing current and future marketing campaigns with the Marketing team
- Maintaining a detailed understanding of industry trends and competitor capabilities
- Developing proven metrics and reporting
- Creating recommendations for continual improvements
The requirements The successful candidate will have strong (3+ years) industry experience in O&G, Semiconductors or DCS systems, as well as: - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline (desirable)
- Able to drive innovation, with experience of creating and implementing brand messaging through appropriate channels
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Adept networker and able to build high-level relationships at all levels, including C-suite
- Strong team-working ability and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, in both in-person and virtual settings
- Driven and results-orientated
- Flexible and willing to travel up to 25%
