Surgical robotics is one of the fastest growing sectors of the medical devices space. One of the most exciting companies in the market is looking for a Clinical Specialist to join their team based in Germany. The company

Our client is a disruptive player in the rapidly growing surgical robotics space. They produce state-of-the art robotics for the minimally invasive surgery space. With a close-knit and family-orientated culture in the business they’re passionate about finding people that will fit in with their mission to make the next generation of surgical robot. Their robot will improve patient care and have a huge impact on the healthcare market, from surgeons to patients alike.

The role

As a Clinical Specialist you’ll be part of the team in Germany who are responsible for selling the surgical robotics platform into hospitals and other clinical environments. You’ll be integral to supporting the sales team by building relationships with stakeholders and providing clinical training to operating room staff who will be using the robot day to day. Providing installation support, you’ll work closely with clinical teams to guide them on how to maximise what they get out of their robotics system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with operating room teams to maximise their use of the robot
  • Providing regular service reviews with customers
  • Supporting the installation of the robot into hospital environments
  • Supporting sales teams by providing clinical training
  • Planning and coordinating customer visits
  • Mentoring new members of the team
  • Representing the wider business at events and exhibitions

 

 

The requirements

You’ll be based in Germany and have experience in operating room environments or educating hospital staff, as well as…

Requirements:

  • Life science degree-educated (or equivalent medical/clinical experience)
  • Experience of minimally invasive surgery or robotics beneficial
  • Strong education development/training skills
  • Clinical/medical device background
  • Committed to providing top quality customer and peer training
  • Comfortable with working with advanced capital equipment
  • Used to working with multiple business stakeholders
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Excellent at relationship building and maintaining (particularly within a clinical environment)
  • Able to travel multiple times per week across Germany
  • Fluent in German and excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal)
