Do you have a background of success in a project management role? Are you looking to enhance your leadership abilities? Our client is looking for an Implementation Project Manager to become a remote member of their company. 

The company 

Our client delivers a variety of Environmental, Health and Safety services across the globe to help businesses overcome the various complexities of managing their EHS and risk data. In creating a safer and healthier workplace they provide a variety of services including blueprinting, seamless implementation, easy to understand solution training and unmatched service support.

The role 

As an Implementation Project Manager, your role will focus on assisting the planning and coordination of software implementations. Along with a dedicated team, you’ll be responsible for managing the activities of multiple projects running simultaneously, each with varying schedules and stakeholders. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • The steering committee and other important project meetings, including presenting formally to client stakeholders 

  • Managing weekly client status reports and providing updates of all communication artefacts to Senior PM’s 

  • Mitigating project risks related to budget, timeline, scope, and resources to both the customer and management teams

  • Conducting regular status checkpoints with internal teams and external teams, including third-party vendors for clients 

  • Partnering with business analysts, developers, and client process owners to build clients’ applications

The requirements 

You’ll have 5+ years experience working in an external client-facing Implementation or Project Manager role for an Enterprise Type Platform, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, computer science, engineering or a relevant field 

  • PMP certification is highly desirable 

  • Demonstrable success in managing overseas development teams 

  • Able to confidently present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Excellent computer literacy skills including Visio and WebEx/GoToMeeting 

  • An understanding of project management tools (MS Project/Smartsheet/Sharepoint, Jira) is ideal 

  • Highly organised and able to confidently balance multiple projects 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
