Job description

Opportunities to sell some of the medical imaging  markets most innovative radiology equipment usually requires to you work for a corporate giant of the industry. Not in this case. You will be part of a close-knit sales team that genuinely supports each other and works together to provide the best solutions for their healthcare clients. This highly experienced and passionate sales team are looking for the final piece of the puzzle, a motivated medical salesperson who wants to make the South East territory their own. 

The company 

This leading supplier of diagnostic and radiology imaging products in the UK and Ireland are focused on providing high-quality X-Ray and CT equipment to both NHS and private healthcare clients. They are currently expanding their sales team in the UK to meet the demands of their ever growing client base. 

The role 

As an Account Manager you’ll be responsible for developing and driving strategies and business plans to increase sales growth in your territory. Relationship building is key to this role as you will spend a lot of your time speaking with stakeholders and decision makers. If you’re a strong communicator with a track record in healthcare sales, this could be the perfect role for you. 


Responsibilities include: 

  • Developing and driving strategies to meet company targets and grow sales 

  • Sell a portfolio of diagnostic imaging technologies to customers 

  • Maintaining and growing partnerships in your territory 

  • Identifying and follow up on new opportunities 

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders 

  • Coordinate development of action plans to enter new markets 

  • Reporting on market insight 

  • Integrating sales processes across the territory 

  • Developing and communicating sales strategies 

  • Being a subject expert on your product portfolio 

  • Awareness of market trends 

  • Representing the company at meetings with prospects and clients 

  • Working closely with the marketing team to feed back on products 

  • Grow the brand awareness in your territory 

  • Sales forecasting and pipelining 


The requirements 

You will have at least five years’ experience in healthcare sales, as well as… 

  • Undergraduate degree (or MBA) 

  • Awareness of business strategies and reporting 

  • A strategic and analytical thinker 

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen 

  • Experienced leader and team builder 

  • Experience working in a healthcare technology-focused organisation 

  • Project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong people and change management skills
