Do you have prior aviation experience? Our client, an innovative green aviation start-up, is looking for a Head of Program to join their team in Gloucestershire.

The role

As Head of Program, you’ll develop a strong understanding of technical and certification requirements of electric motors and energy sources, supporting the technology vision for our clients’ product portfolio. You will be leading a cross-functional team and influence the design decisions for current and future systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the design, development, validation, production and test of our clients’ solutions
• Ensuring each project is delivered on-time and on-budget
• Identifying key company processes and improvements
• Influencing the design decisions of systems
• Communicating technical content to customers
• Being an active member of the Leadership Team

The requirements

You will have extensive aviation experience, as well as…

• Degree level educated in a relevant subject
• Background in aircraft engines Research and Development
• New product development and sustainability experience
• Proven track record in international business leadership
• P&L management background
• Proven negotiation and interpersonal skills
• High level of expertise in analysing, reporting, and presenting
