Focused on developing clinically advanced surgical instruments and solutions, our client is passionate about improving patient care in healthcare worldwide.  

The role

As a Head of Professional Education you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that customers optimise the use of our client’s cutting-edge portfolio of products. You will bring your experience to craft a 3-5 year roadmap for internal and external education that harnesses the latest product introductions, evolving technologies and essential skills. Your educational programs will be delivered to both company experts and key clinical individuals to ensure the safe use of our client’s products and propel the company reputation across the UK and Ireland. 

Other responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and inspiring a team of individuals 

• Hitting and exceeding KPIs 

• Regularly analysing the effectiveness of educational activities and programs 

• Accelerating revenue growth through improving sale of the product portfolio 

• Defining clear and robust project approach processes

• Resolving customer queries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

• Ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality requirements 

The requirements

You’ll be a highly influential individual with strong team management and leadership experience in a matrix environment, as well as: 

• Degree educated in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience 

• Proven track record of delivering Professional Education in a similar, regulated industry 

• Expert level knowledge within a Medical Technology space 

• Able to work autonomously as well as effectively cross-collaborate 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Strong computer literacy (including Microsoft Suite) 

• Highly analytical with an aptitude for problem-solving 

• Resilient and able to handle change with confidence 

• Flexible and willing to travel with a full UK driver’s license
