FMC Smart Industry are excited to be partnering with a multi award winning and world first technology provider of accurate augmented reality (AR) for the global construction sector. Backed by a host of well-known investors, their unique AR hardware and software is the most precise holographic solution on the market with customers in the UK, Denmark, Ireland, Sweden (and soon to be the USA) already benefiting from onsite visual models. Their product aims to solve the headaches presented by converting 3D designs into 2D drawings, thus savings on costs, time and efforts later on during the construction project cycle.

Named amongst the top 3 hottest starts-ups in addition to a top 3 construction technology firm, FMC’s client are truly taking the construction industry by storm.

The role

Having recently secured even more funding, they are seeking to onboard an ambitious and determined Head of Marketing to join their talented marketing team by utilising their knowledge of working alongside a product or solution for international organisations. You will help to put their innovative product on the map with over 100 prospect organisations based globally. Leading a small team of marketeers, you will focus on delivering highly effective marketing campaigns to enhance their digital and physical presence, generate new leads, identify decision makers, market mapping, competitor analysis and more.

Working in conjunction with the sales team to support the sales strategy, you will bring their brand to life and help propel their market awareness above their competitors. Having already created one of the most exciting products in construction, and received many different awards, you will be passionate about the future of construction technology and bring their proposition to life across the virtual and physical realms.

The requirements

You will ideally possess a University degree in Business or Marketing in addition to:

  • Being a self-starter with an appetite for success, who is proactive and able to manage a team to achieve commercial and revenue generating marketing goals
  • A background in working on behalf of international organisations ideally with knowledge of bringing a new product or technology to market
  • A desire or experience of working within a start-up culture, knowledge of effective lead generation models, building brand awareness and content marketing
  • Be a clear and effective communicator with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ideally experience of the construction sector and the problem designs, contractors, architects and others construction professionals face
  • Able to effectively manage their branding and corporate identity to strengthen their position in the market
