Are you passionate about transportation and electrification? Are you considered a thought leader in your field? Our client is looking for someone to join their team as Head of Europe and set the vision for an exciting phase of growth in Europe and lead your team to execute it.

 

The company

We are representing an industry-leading consultancy company that specialises in developing breakthrough engineering and electrical proposition systems. This division specialises in taking complex and evolving software, control and calibration challenges and providing unique solutions to meet the demands for future transportation.

 

The role

As the Head of Europe, you will actively develop and expand a growing portfolio of new clients whilst maintaining relationships with existing ones. You will encourage regional growth and deeper client penetration across new sectors as well as undertaking proactive business development focused on profitable opportunities across Europe.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Developing compelling project proposals
  • Supporting SLT to win new business
  • Collaborating and developing relationships with colleagues
  • Taking an active role in professional development of the team
  • Encouraging the team to challenge the status quo and think out of the box
  • Providing expert knowledge and adding value through insight
  • Taking on project delivery and managing client relationships
  • Ensuring all processes are followed to meet business requirements

The requirements

You’ll have a proven track record from a consulting environment, which could be augmented with corporate experience in the automotive or other industrial sectors, as well as:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree educated in a relevant scientific, technical, or engineering subject, preferably with an MBA
  • Experience selling and building client relationships
  • Able to repeatedly achieve business development goals and deliver €2.0M+ revenue year on year
  • A network of successful client relationships
  • Able to put together create and compelling propositions
  • Experience of leading and coaching project teams and direct reports
  • Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and commercial
  • High energy, ambitious and a strong character
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Flexible and willing to travel overseas
