Are you looking to bring your background in software solution sales to a new, dynamic, and challenging role? Our client, a rising vendor in the Construction space, is currently looking for an ambitious Group Sales Manager to join their team in the UK. 

 

The company 

Our client provides a cloud-based software platform that enables contractors to store and share data with ease to enable streamlined collaboration and seamless project management for construction projects. They pride themselves on placing the needs of the customer at the heart of their vision and ensuring their solutions remain an efficient, cost-effective, and accessible option within the construction space. 

 

The role

In this role, your core focus will be developing and upselling business for our client’s software portfolio within an assigned set of accounts. You’ll become a product expert and will be able to communicate solution business value to a diverse customer base, from key stakeholders to C-suite, to address their individual needs and position our client as the partner of choice.

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Achieving high growth and exceeding revenue targets 

  • Developing positive and effective relationships at various levels  

  • Identifying, negotiating, and closing opportunities 

  • Developing a sales pipeline to ensure best-in-class forecasting  

  • Evaluating the prospective client profile, creating value messaging, and targeting key steps 

  • Providing ongoing client feedback to product management, client success and marketing teams 

  • Maintain a strong knowledge level of the company’s solutions and services

 

The requirements 

You’ll have 3+ years of sales experience, ideally SaaS, in a B2B environment with a track record of hitting and exceeding quota. Experience in construction software sales with demonstrable knowledge of project management solutions in the construction market is beneficial to this role.  

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota 

  • Business-level knowledge of project management solutions construction market 

  • Strong executive selling and relationship experience 

  • Excellent customer service skills, strong business acumen and creative problem-solving skills 

  • Data reporting and analytical skills 

  • Outstanding work ethic with a passion for hitting targets 

  • Passionate about developments in new technology

  • Aptitude for building strong interpersonal relationships

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office suite and CRM)

  • Fluent English language skills and other languages is a plus
