One of the most exciting companies in the market is looking for a Global Services Manager to lead a team supporting the global service activities for our client’s state of the art robotics system. Our client is a disruptive player in the rapidly growing surgical robotics space. They produce state-of-the art robotics for the minimally invasive surgery space. With a close-knit and family-orientated culture in the business they’re passionate about finding people that will fit in with their mission to make the next generation of surgical robot. Their robot will improve patient care and have a huge impact on the healthcare market, from surgeons to patients alike.

The role

As Global Services Manager you’ll be focused on delivering great value and improving patient outcomes by making sure that surgical teams worldwide have the best possible experience with the robotics system. Managing the leads of the Service and Support (SaS) and Field Service Engineering teams, you’ll be contributing to customer success in clinical environments worldwide.


Responsibilities include:

  • Managing activities for SaS and FSE capability
  • Managing Leads of the above teams
  • Improving and facilitating customer success
  • Leading and developing global services activities
  • Working with team leads to develop and implement strategy for global service
  • Tracking and reporting on KPIs
  • Providing strong, clear leadership as the business scales up
  • Supporting the professional development of your team
  • Designing SLAs for team deliverables and ensuring these are hit
  • Promoting continuous improvement within your team
  • Analysing and mitigating risks to SaS activities
  • Managing the budget for your team
  • Working towards increased sustainability and environmental responsibility
  • Liaising with other business units within the company


The requirements

You’ll have a strong track record in a leadership and management role and will be an exceptional communicator. Our client is looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment!


  • Experience working under regulatory constraints in a heavily regulated industry
  • Demonstrable experience of task and line management in an engineering or lab environment (ideally with medical devices/robotics experience)
  • Ability to work flexibly
  • Strong data and analytical skills, experienced in measuring and reporting
  • A capable problem solver with experience solving problems in collaborative environments
  • Passionate about technical excellence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A desire to achieve the very best in customer experience
  • Experience in and knowledge of clinical/surgical environments desirable
  • Agile project management (specifically Atlassian Jira) desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience with CRM management systems desirable
