Do you have product marketing experience? Our client is looking for a Global Product Manager to join their fast growing and exciting medical device company in the North East, UK.  

The company 

Our client is transforming the standards within healthcare environments across the globe. After 50 years of providing market-leading hygiene and surgical solutions, they have revolutionised the experience of patients through their innovation and manufacturing excellence.  

The role 

As Global Product Manager, you’ll be working within the System category to support the business in delivering product excellence. You will be tasked with developing new product initiatives across the portfolio to drive market share, sales, and margin growth.  

You’ll be an expert in our client’s product portfolio and your responsibilities include: 

  • Establishing a strategy for pricing, messaging, packaging, and promotion of products 

  • Educating and supporting internal and external stakeholders on product features 

  • Creating content including product videos, sakes collateral, website copy and blog posts 

  • Developing and managing the tools, content, and resources for the sales teams’ 

  • Leading product launches and executing go-to-market strategies 

  • Supporting monthly and quarterly sales reports to measure product success  

  • Identifying gaps in the product portfolio and introducing new products  

  • Establishing cost savings and product improvements  

  • Supervising, controlling, and managing the assigned project groups  

The requirements 

You’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in a commercial, marketing, sales or product-based role.  

Other requirements include: 

  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Experience marketing a product portfolio to a designated territory  

  • Strong commercial mindset 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Strong project management skills and experience working cross-functionally 

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment  

  • Detail orientated and analytical 

  • Open-minded, strong interpersonal skills and a ‘can do’ attitude  

  • Able to travel across the territory (when permitted) 

  • Able to speak another language is useful
