The role 

As a Global Head of Electrified Systems, your industry expertise will be highly valued as you’ll provide technical leadership in both developing and delivering a range of projects spanning the globe. You’ll have the opportunity to recruit and mentor a team of dedicated engineers to deliver quality solutions that utilise the latest technology, on time and budget. 

Other responsibilities include: 

• Defining clear and robust project approaches 

• Preparing compelling project proposals 

• Liaising with suppliers to ensure suitable technical specifications are met 

• Forming and maintaining successful customer relationships 

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives 

• Working by processes and safety requirements 

The requirements 

You’ll have extensive (15+ years) of experience in high-voltage power electronics application, development, and testing, as well as: 

• Degree educated in an Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent work experience) 

• Experience leading and managing a global electronics function  

• Proven experience in developing and implementing strategies to advance electronics technology 

• Strong understanding of global industry standards and trends 

• Innovative and able to resolve challenges  

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire 

• Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team 

• Self-starter who embraces new technology and challenges 

• Results-orientated and driven 

• Flexible and willing to travel
