Are you a charismatic individual with a background of sales success? Our client is currently looking for a sales expert to join their team in Germany as a Global Account Manager. 

The company 

Our client is a leading software vendor providing Environmental Health & Safety and Risk Management solutions. They strive to achieve operational excellence to develop a safer, more sustainable, and more productive world. The product can serve a diverse number of sectors, from oil, gas, and petrochemical to discrete manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, government and many more.

The role 

As a Global Account Manager, you will focus on securing a pipeline of sales opportunities within a set of targeted accounts. This role is heavily customer-focused, and you’ll bring your networking skills to build trusted, influential relationships with senior customer executives that will drive customer retention and satisfaction. You’ll showcase our client’s value proposition to customers, providing technical solutions to help them meet or exceed business objectives. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Generating new leads and opportunities within assigned customer accounts 

  • Coordinating with Solution Executives to manage accounts 

  • Devising detailed account plans, pipeline assessments and sales forecasts 

  • Hitting and exceeding sales targets 

  • Overseeing internal and external resources throughout the customer lifecycle  

  • Developing and executing renewal strategies 

  • Maintain a strong knowledge level of the company's solutions and services 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have 5+ years of successful experience in Account Management for Enterprise Software and Technology solutions, as well as: 

  • Proven success of managing large and complex clients including the Global 2000 

  • Track record of revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling 

  • Experience in Compliance and Risk Management is desirable 

  • Able to adapt and leverage products, services, and operations to effectively compete in competitive markets 

  • New business hunter with a drive to expand existing relationships 

  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills 

  • Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team 

  • Highly self-disciplined and organised 

  • Fluent in German and English
