Are you an experienced sales individual with a proven track record in selling technology? Are you looking to take your sales career to a new level? Our client is looking for a talented Global Account Manager to join their team. 

The company 

Our client is focused on driving the digital transformation agenda across the oil and gas, chemical, and engineering industries. With a strong heritage in the space, they are a globally renowned organisation with customers across the world. Helping their clients to meet their sustainability and operational goals through their software portfolio, they specialise in implementing the latest in artificial intelligence and machine learning. 

The role 

As a Global Account Manager, your core focus will be optimising the sale of our client’s portfolio of software products and solutions across the pharmaceutical industry by owning strategic account plans for major accounts. You’ll bring your interpersonal skills to form strong, trusted customer relationships with a range of pharmaceutical clients to develop a thorough understanding of their business priorities and position our client as an effective solution. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Establishing a network of generating leads within your territory in order to grow existing revenue 

  • Creating and developing sales opportunities  

  • Ensuring rapid responses to sales requests 

  • Delivering up-to-date knowledge of new products and industry knowledge to customers 

  • Hitting and exceeding sales targets 

  • Providing accurate sales forecasts 

  • Improving customer satisfaction  

 

The requirements 

You’ll have 10 + years of successful experience in a sales role, as well as: 

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Strong understanding of Pharma industry sales processes 

  • Track record of selling technology 

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment 

  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects 

  • Strong interpersonal and customer engagement skills 

  • Excellent communication and articulation skills (written and verbal)

  • Positive, driven and results-orientated
