Our client is seeking a Finnish speaking Business Developer to join their fast-growing, mission-orientated team in a flexible and friendly work environment. Our client is the world-leading cloud-based software tool that provides advanced calculations and analytics for sustainable building design and construction. Our client’s software helps building professionals to make informed decisions about the environmental impact of their projects, and to design and construct buildings that are more sustainable and environmentally friendly. 

 
The role 
As a Business Developer, you will build an understanding of business needs and how they can be solved with our client’s solutions. You will collaborate with the product teams to improve the tools for the Finnish market and become an expert in construction and manufacturing LCA.  

Other responsibilities include… 

• Educating prospects on the value and opportunities in low carbon construction  

• Keeping up to date with the market 

• Joining relevant industry events  

• Developing strong local partnerships 

• Localising campaigns and regional content to strengthen sales pipeline 

• Supporting existing Finnish customers with training sessions  

The requirements 
You’ll have at least three years of relevant experience, as well as… 

• Degree in engineering, construction, environmental sciences, or related area 

• Construction technology background 

• Experience from B2B sales 

• Fast learning skills and desire to constantly improve 

• Customer and results orientated attitude 

• Strong listening skills and ability to see the situation from a client’s perspective 

• Motivation to help others succeed and to find solutions to their obstacles 

• Fluent in Finnish and English, other Nordic languages are a plus 

This role can be based out of Helsinki or performed remotely from the Nordics or UK.
