Our client is introducing a range of new and exciting automotive technologies across their range of motorcycles and are looking to bring in an experienced Feature and Definition Owner with excellent stakeholder requirements, elicitation skills and systems engineering experience.

The role 

As Feature and Definition Owner you will support immediate project requirements and our clients’ exciting new Technology Roadmap, including the early definition and introduction of new electrical features across a range of motorcycles.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Translating needs for New Model programs into high level features 

  • Producing needs from multiple stakeholders to capture customer needs 

  • Facilitating brainstorming sessions 

  • Gaining user insight and prioritising stakeholder needs 

  • Developing the high-level feature definition using MBSE tools 

  • Shaping the new technology roadmap  

  • Continually improve advance project and design processes 

  • Undertaking and assisting with projects as required by your manager  

The requirements 

You’ll be an experienced user of Model Based Systems Engineering tools. Other requirements include: 

  • BEng or MEng in Systems Engineering or equivalent  

  • Understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle 

  • Previous experience of working within an automotive / industrial design environment  

  • Self-motivated, resilient, flexible, and adaptable 

  • Able to communicate technical information clearly  

  • Able to work in a multi-discipline team environment  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proficient computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office) 

  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines 

  • Flexible and willing to undertake UK and overseas travel as required
