Do you have a strong technical understanding of powertrain testing? Do you have previous experience planning and implementing corrective and preventative maintenance programmes? An industry-leading company that provide testing and quality assurance to companies around the globe are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join their team in the UK and ensure either Electrical or Mechanical equipment and systems are maintained to the highest standards.
Our client has over 100 years of experience in quality assurance and provide their services to industries around the globe. They make sure that products meet required standards across multiple areas of business operations, from R&D to manufacturing, distribution to materials sourcing.

One of their core markets is the testing of parts for automotive OEMs and tier suppliers, testing combustion engines, powertrains and more. They are incredibly well respected in the powertrain industry and this is an area of huge growth for the company.
As Facilities Engineer you’ll make sure that facility efficiency, safety, reliability and regulatory requirements are met at our client’s testing sites. You’ll be responsible for ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest level as well as taking part in fault-finding activities and equipment upgrades. Your core focus will be leading the assessment, commissioning and maintenance of either mechanical or electrical equipment.
You’ll have a strong technical understanding of and experience in powertrain testing facilities. Other requirements include:
