One of the UK’s most exciting, award-winning surgical robotics companies is looking for a European Product Marketing Manager to join their team and develop go-to-market content and strategies to engage key audiences across Europe.

The role

As European Product Marketing Manager you’ll be working at the very heart of our client’s operations. As they continue to roll out their state-of-the-art surgical robotics systems across Europe you’ll be tasked with building a team of the very best procedure focused product marketing managers to support this and will be focused on the procedural and specialties aspect of the system. You’ll be an expert in our client’s robotics system and its value and will be able to use key messaging to develop go-to-market strategies to engage target audiences across Europe.

You’ll be working closely with clinical staff and surgeons to understand how the robotic system performs in different surgical specialties and procedures, so our client are looking for someone with a strong clinical background. Using this knowledge you’ll establish strong relationships with surgeons and other clinicians to drive product marketing strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Championing our client’s surgical robotics system across Europe
• Building a world-leading team of product marketing managers
• Focusing on procedural and specialty aspects
• Developing key messaging about the robot across key minimally invasive surgical specialty areas
• Identifying and assessing market, clinical and customer trends to influence marketing collateral
• Developing go-to-market strategies for specialty markets
• Manage high quality marketing collateral, including videos, advertising and brochures
• Working closely with surgeons and clinical teams to develop publishing strategies
• Defining key messaging for events and product demonstrations
• Driving innovation and introducing new ideas
• Enhancing and promoting the robotic systems USPs
• Working with focus groups to gather insight on the market

The requirements

You’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in a marketing role in a similar field, ideally working with medical or surgical devices. Other requirements include:

• Degree level educated in a relevant discipline
• Strong track record in a marketing, product management or clinical applications role
• Previous experience in European markets
• Experience in aligned therapy areas, working with abdominal, pelvic or thoracic medical devices
• Experience working with clinical and research teams
• Strong clinical experience and comfortable with operating room environments
• Demonstrable track record developing go-to-market strategies and content
• Able to develop and implement product marketing strategies
• Able to drive innovation and come up with new ideas
• Comfortable working with data to develop market and product insights
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience presenting to senior management and customers
• Detail orientated and analytical
• Passionate and driven
• Able to travel across Europe (when permitted)
