Our client’s solution is considered by many to be the market leader in the space, and this is an exciting opportunity to witness and support the potential growth in the market. Our client is looking for an ambitious Enterprise Account Executive to become a remote member of their team in Germany and fuel customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

FMC Smart Industry continue to support world leaders in engineering software who push the boundaries of innovation for the global AEC, Smart Cities, and infrastructure sectors. Our client is an engineering software powerhouse that put R&D, M&A activity, and brand enhancement at the forefront of its innovation strategy, propelling them ahead of its competitors. More recently, leading the way in Digital Twin, IoT, and simulation design and modelling software, they have thousands of customers based across the world. 

The role 

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will build a strong understanding of the construction industry and our client’s products so that you can engage with and understand the user’s business, and their challenges and identify opportunities to solve them.

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Working closely with Regional Directors, Senior Account Managers and Marketing teams 

  • Executing your go-to-market plan 

  • Identifying and qualifying new opportunities 

  • Prospecting and engaging with targeted users through social networks, email, phone, and meetings

  • Understanding business challenges and generating a qualified pipeline

  • Developing account, project, and contact target lists

  • Building a compelling value proposition

  • Managing the early stages of the sales process


The requirements 

You’ll have 3+ years of sales experience in the AEC industry, as well as: 

  • Graduate-level education in a relevant field is highly desirable 

  • Background in Construction 

  • Proven experience in pipeline development and qualifying new SaaS product business

  • Experience coaching large extended sales teams in selling the value of digital enterprise software

  • A hands-on approach to business development

  • Knowledge of industry drivers and the competitive AEC landscape

  • An understanding of Common Data Environments

  • Excellent presentation and customer service skills 

  • Able to influence at Board-Level and build rapport with colleagues and clients

  • Able to travel up to 20% within EMEA
