We have partnered with one of if not the biggest names in software for architects, engineers, and other infrastructure professionals with their search for sales professionals with an appetite for closing sales in targeted accounts. Our client is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager to join their team across Central USA.

Our client is an engineering software powerhouse that put R&D, M&A activity, and brand enhancement at the forefront of its innovation strategy, propelling them ahead of its competitors. More recently, leading the way in Digital Twin, IoT, and simulation design and modelling software, they have thousands of customers based across the world.

The role 

As an Enterprise Account Manager, you’ll develop and execute campaigns for generating and driving new business and maintaining and developing relationships focused on their digital construction management software. You will act as the primary contact for their software and will work to determine the sales strategy and negotiate and implement approved contracts and deliver outstanding results. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Creating effective business plans to expand the use of our client’s product portfolio 

  • Following up and managing sales leads and developing them into qualified opportunities 

  • Promoting the value proposition to designers, engineers, architects, and contractors 

  • Developing a sales pipeline and forecasting all revenue 

  • Adhering to the sales process and optimising the CRM system 

  • Developing key relationships at various levels 

  • Maintaining a detailed knowledge and understanding of all offerings 

  • Negotiating sales and service agreements 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have 5+ years of selling software solutions in the Engineering, Infrastructure, and Construction markets, as well as… 

  • Degree-level educated desired 

  • Knowledge of ECM solutions and BIM is required, ideally with a background in construction 

  • Experience in Asset Management solutions is a plus  

  • An exceptional track record of quarterly and annual quote performance  

  • Able to work in a team of technical, marketing, and salespeople 

  • A passion for hitting targets and a self-motivating can-do attitude 

  • Strong listening and negotiation skills 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office) 

  • Up to 15-20% of travel required
