We are currently supporting a leading software company that provides software solutions and consultancy services to companies around the globe. Due to growth, they are now looking for an Account Executive to join their team in the US and support their expansion.

With a fantastic reputation in the market, they strive to provide solutions that help their customers bring their products to market efficiently and manage their supply chains. 


The role 

As an Account Executive, you’ll be focused on selling a range of PLM and PPM applications across a wide range of industries. You’ll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing software proposals and demonstrations, and negotiating and closing business. You’ll work closely with sales and management teams on sales strategy and pipeline. The ultimate aim of this role is to expand the business in the North American market.

The requirements 

You’ll have at least 2 years of experience in a software sales role and will have experience with selling high-value, cloud-based or SaaS software solutions. Other requirements include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject 

  • Experience selling to CPG, Pharma, F&B, Cosmetics or Chemical industries 

  • Strong track record in a software sales role (ideally achieving over $1m annually) 

  • Experience selling high-value software 

  • Able to identify and pursue new business opportunities 

  • Able to confidently communicate with senior, executive-level stakeholders 

  • Hunter mentality and ability to close new business 

  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels 

  • Excellent understanding of technical environments 

  • Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation software 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Able to travel across North America when required 

  • Ideally located in the East or Midwest of the US 


This role covers major regions in the USA which may include New York, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle.
