An exciting startup who produces and develop innovative software solutions for autonomous and electric vehicles is currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team.

Working with innovative technologies such as AI and machine learning to ensure accurate data for BMS, ADAS and other automotive technologies, they are passionate about enabling seamless testing processes, developing state-of-the-art technologies and ensuring data reliability. The role

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll focus on developing real-time software for Electronic Control Units. You’ll be working on software architecture and the design and integration of basic and algorithm software.


The requirements

You’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in embedded software development. Other requirements include:

  • PhD or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Signal Processing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • A track record working on software development in the automotive space
  • Knowledge of automotive security concepts and architectures
  • Strong C programming skills
  • Able to work to MISRA guidelines and knowledge of ISO26262 and A-SPICE processes
  • Experience in the development of low-level drive, bootloader and diagnostics
  • Experience with hardware/software integration
  • Strong track record of working on debugging and code optimisation
  • Performance tuning experience
  • Positive and driven
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects
  • Focused on quality
