The role

As an Embedded Hardware Test Engineer you will join a testing team that design test strategies for our client’s technologies. You’ll work alongside other teams to improve designs and specifications for systems such as Battery Management Systems and Infotainment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Designing test strategies and plans for system requirements
  • Conducting a variety of testes on a simulation, vehicle or component level (including functional, stress and performance tests)
  • Coordinating testing with external stakeholders and companies
  • Preparing test environments
  • Performing both manual and automated white- and black-box test
  • Analysis and reporting on test results


The requirements

You will have experience in the definition and performance of tests, as well as:

  • Degree-level education in electrical engineering (or proven equivalent in experience)
  • Understanding of embedded system components
  • Understanding of analog/digital inputs and outputs
  • Familiar with handling laboratory equipment (such as DMM, power supplies and oscilloscopes)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic about laboratory work and performing QA tasks
  • Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written)
  • Strong knowledge of various test methodologies
  • Able to work in a team with other hardware, software and test engineers
  • Experience in the automotive industry is desirable
