We are recruiting for an electric technology powerhouse who are looking for an Electrical Architecture Engineer to join their team and drive projects forward.

The role 

As Electrical Architecture Engineer, you’ll take ownership of vehicle features from requirements level through to testing, creating these requirements based on feature lists.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Creating vehicle feature requirements 

  • Owning vehicle feature projects 

  • Handling component development and selection 

  • Working according to pre-defined requirements 

  • Communicating with suppliers 

  • Testing and debugging features on component and vehicle level 

  • Handling electrical signals and automotive communication protocols 

  • Managing controls signals lists 

  • Collaborating with the system engineering team during development processes 

  • Ensuring hardware and control integration comply with legal standards 

 

The requirements 

You will have a strong track in the automotive industry with a particular focus on electrical systems engineering, as well as…

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject (ideally Electrical or Software Engineering) 

  • Strong technical understanding of the automotive industry 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent understanding of electric vehicle architecture 

  • Understanding of subsystems and functionalities 

  • Passionate about automotive technologies and emerging trends 

  • Familiarity with embedded software programming desirable 

  • Experience developing and executing calibration processes desirable 

  • Strong organisational skills 

  • Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
