We are currently supporting an incredibly well-respected, market-leading medical device company that is looking for a Dispensing Specialist to work on support, training and education of customers.

The company

Our client is a dominant market leader in providing solutions that improve medical discovery, diagnostics and delivery of patient care. Their core focus is on making sure healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical providers and industry partners have the innovative technologies to help advance clinical therapies for patients, clinical process and workflow.

Their Medication Management Systems department are focused on disrupting the process of managing medication to help prevent infections and treat chronic diseases and ultimately improve patient safety. This role is part of this team and you will join them in improving safety and simplifying processes associated with healthcare systems and pharmacy networks.

The role

As a Dispensing Specialist you’ll be responsible for providing support, training and education to dispensing customers. You’ll be educating them on solutions to improve workflow efficiency and prevent medication errors in hospital environments. This role also supports the business’ commercial teams, both pre and post the sales process.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting, training, and education dispensing customers
  • Provide in depth training on the dispensing portfolio
  • Advising customers on solutions that improve workflow efficiency and reduce costs
  • Educating customers on automated storage and inventory management
  • Providing training on full dispensing portfolio
  • Supporting commercial teams
  • Troubleshooting activities at customer sites
  • Representing the wider company at exhibitions and conferences
  • Facilitating pre and post installation audits
  • Support new product launches
  • Work with clinical consultants to analyse trends

 

The requirements

You will have experience as a pharmacy technician or an NMC registered nurse, as wel as…

  • City and Guilds L3 in Education and Training (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with robotic/automated systems
  • Experience managing a demanding region
  • Able to maintain and develop strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Goal orientated and independent
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office and CRM)
  • Commercially aware
