Job description

Due to continued growth our client is looking for a passionate Director of Client Partnerships to join their team and help the business to achieve their financial goals.  

The company 

Our client provides a myriad of distinct shop floor and supply chain solutions to many of the aerospace and defense industry’s largest manufacturers. Integrated into one software suite, their product synchronises data and enables collaboration between internal and external teams. From shop floor to top floor, these solutions deliver real-time information that simplifies complex manufacturing and provides product and process improvement. 

The role 

As a Director of Channel Partnerships, you’ll be responsible for setting the strategy and deliver the program to generate new sales revenues and drive joint account targeting, mapping and planning. You will communicate to senior stakeholders, track the sales pipeline, and crunch the numbers.   

Other responsibilities include:

  • Executing the strategic sales and business development plans 

  • Finding prospects to approach and communicate value proposition 

  • Building relationships with partners  

  • Forecasting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis   

  • Creating training materials and communications for internal teams 

  • Sourcing new partner opportunities through networking and inbound campaigns 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have 8-10+ years’ experience in software channel development and channel sales operations, as well as… 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 

  • Confidently work with C-level partners 

  • Excellent presenting and influencing skills at a strategic level  

  • Experience with strategic planning and development  

  • Demonstrable ability to lead people  

  • Able to think ahead and manage multiple priorities  

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Motivated and able to perform under pressure

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both written and verbal)

  • Ability to travel when required
