Are you looking for a new challenging position within a dynamic and innovative company? Our client is currently looking for a Director of eCommerce to join their team in London.

They pride themselves on their forward-thinking culture and prioritise collaboration with the world’s leading physical therapists, trainers, and engineers at each stage of their product development. 

The role 

As Director of eCommerce, you will focus on propelling our client’s brand across emerging European markets by generating content to showcase the company’s products across its online platforms. You’ll utilise industry best practices, technology trends and analysis of consumer behaviour to drive digital business and achieve revenue targets.   

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Hitting and exceeding sales quota 

  • Collaborating with the social media and Digital Performance marketing teams 

  • Planning and analysing current and future marketing campaigns and key launches 

  • Creating sales tools with the Sales team to support the selling of our client’s products 

  • Maintaining a detailed understanding of industry trends and competitor capabilities 

  • Leading in the organisation of company conferences, events, and seminars 

  • Providing weekly sales reports 

  • Reporting site metrics & KPIs with the goal of optimizing site performance 


The requirements 

You’ll have 7+ years of experience in eCommerce management and site merchandising, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent work experience 

  • Demonstrable leadership success with a proven track record of achievement 

  • Experience with a CPG company is desirable 

  • Able to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with other leaders and teams 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate 

  • Creative and able to produce top-quality content 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)  

  • Resilient and able to handle ambiguity with confidence 

  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects 

  • Analytical and solutions-orientated
