FMC Smart Industry are currently partnering with a rising global software company who are seeking a Direct Sales Representative to join their team across the UK and the Netherlands and support their business through an exciting period of rapid growth.
Our client’s suite of cloud-based solutions is driving the digital transformation of asset-heavy industries. Their decades of experience in the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors have been channelled into a platform that balances both a user-friendly experience as well as power and reliability. Their reach is worldwide – their solutions currently influence the productivity, safety and sustainability of companies across the global industry space – and they have ambitions for further international scale-ups.
As a Direct Sales Representative you’ll hunt for business opportunities through a range of virtual channels, including cold calls, in order to develop a sustainable pipeline of new prospects. You’ll be responsible for sales activities such as customer support and product demonstration; by acting as a consultant, you’ll provide an exceptional level of customer responsiveness and propose solutions linked with their business strategy that will position our client as their partner of choice.
- Hitting and exceeding revenue targets
- Proposing solutions linked with customer strategy
- Delivering customer satisfaction by putting strategies and processes in place to meet customer needs
- Participating in regular customer meetings, in both virtual and live settings
- Providing accurate sales forecasts
- Maintaining a high level of industry knowledge and expertise
- Promoting a results-orientated cultures
The ideal candidate will have strong (5+ years’) Enterprise software sales experience with a track record of selling complex solutions within an international environment, as well as:
- Degree education in a relevant discipline
- New business hunter with a drive to open new relationships and develop existing ones
- Able to confidently provide technical presentations to a broad customer base, including C-Suite
- Evidence of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Fluent in Dutch and English is desirable
- Driven team player who is able to thrive in a virtual sales team
- Ambitious and driven with strong commercial acumen
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with CRM and MS Office systems
- Able to thrive in an autonomous environment
