The role

As a Digital Transformation Pre-Sales Specialist, you’ll join a dedicated team of industry specialists to engage with both business and technical users across the digital transformation space and position our client as the partner of choice. You’ll develop a detailed understanding of customer problems and provide technical assistance and guidance to develop solutions whilst bringing together value propositions. Your input will be highly valued when developing a clear vision business roadmap that will lead to the expansion of the sales pipeline. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Identifying stakeholder objectives and translating this back to the business 

  • Supporting account managers, sales teams and partners on proposal activities 

  • Delivering compelling sales proposals and technical documentation 

  • Driving pre-sales activity for meetings, activity, and reporting

  • Creating quality presentations for both internal and external stakeholders 

  • Ensuring operational excellence for the customer base

  • Coordinating and scheduling resources in collaboration with other departments 

The requirements

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding and passion for a range of Industry 4.0 technologies with demonstrable experience in implementing Industry 4.0 projects and supporting their adoption. 

  • Engineering degree, ideally in Chemical Engineering 

  • Strong background in the energy industry 

  • Comfortable talking about cloud hosting technologies (including Azure and AWS) 

  • Familiar with common industrial protocols 

  • Comfortable with presenting technical solutions to customers

  • High-level business intelligence and commercial acumen

  • Able to build strong, professional relationships with stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and articulation skills (both written and verbal)

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 

  • Highly organised with excellent organisational skills 

  • Flexible and willing to travel
