The role

As Digital Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for a variety of lifecycle product management processes including identifying customer needs, developing product solutions, and coordinating the provision of their solutions to meet customer needs. This is a core role in the business as you’ll be ensuring that the vision for products is realised, it truly is all things product! This will be an opportunity to truly own Product Management processes, so if you’ve got a strong track record in an aligned role and are familiar with digital and cloud-based solutions this could be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying equipment application priorities and product strategy development
  • Driving new releases including feature prioritisation, development, and launch
  • Developing an agile methodology to ensure continuous innovation and development
  • Managing the product lifecycle from introduction to aftermarket
  • Developing platform and application product strategy and executing this
  • Creating road-maps for product releases
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Analysing strategic trends, market drivers, and competitors
  • Capturing the voice of the customer to identify product features
  • Leading on the planning of product releases
  • Creating product content for marketing to help drive sales

The requirements

You’ll be a true expert in Product Management for mixed software, hardware, and connectivity solutions with a strong track record in an aligned role. Other requirements include:

  • Evidence of promotion and customer adoption of digital solutions (ideally IoT)
  • Successful ownership of customer facing cloud (especially Azure) app based digital solutions
  • Process industry experience in control systems, instrumentation, SCADA, BMS & EMS
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Exposure to industrial networking and cloud connectivity
  • Able work with multiple disciplines and in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational, time-management, and analytical skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical engineering discipline
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics and communicate them
  • Focused on growth
  • Strong evidence of technology and product thought leadership

Please note that this role is predominantly remote, with some time spent in Cheltenham.
