One of the UK’s most exciting, award-winning surgical robotics companies is looking for a Customer Fulfilment Manager to join their team and ensure customers around the world get the parts they need for their surgical robotics system. 

The company 

Our client is a disruptive player in the rapidly growing surgical robotics space. They produce state-of-the art robotics for the minimally invasive surgery space. With a close-knit and family-orientated culture in the business they’re passionate about finding people that will fit in with their mission to make the next generation of surgical robot. Their robot will improve patient care and have a huge impact on the healthcare market, from surgeons to patients alike.  

The role 

As Customer Fulfilment Manager you’ll be focused on delivering our client’s robotics systems and its associated consumables to customers across the world. You’ll make sure that parts are available for customers and engineers in line with their individual needs and will be part of the team that make sure hospitals and other clinical environments get the robotics equipment and parts they need. 

Ensuring high-quality customer experience, you’ll work on developing the very best in processes for customer fulfilment, ensuring that both internal and external customer needs are met.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Coaching, managing and supporting the development of your customer fulfilment team 

  • Tracking KPIs for the team 

  • Driving continuous improvement for customer fulfilment processes 

  • Working closely with distributors and third-party suppliers 

  • Managing supply and demand 

  • Forecasting the demand for spare parts and consumables across the world 

  • Contributing to the planning of the customer fulfilment department 

  • Ensuring exceptional levels of customer service 

  • Driving the very best in customer satisfaction 

  • Meeting the needs of internal and external customers 

  • Defining processes on an international scale 

  • Creating and executing long-term strategies and processes 

  • Developing operations across a range of territories 

  • Identifying new areas for expansion 



The requirements 

You’ll have a strong track record of leading and coaching teams and will have a core focus on customer experience and satisfaction in an operations or customer service focused role. Our client is looking for someone who is both tactical and strategic who can drive continuous improvement.   


  • Track record of managing and coaching a team 

  • Degree level educated in a relevant subject (MBA preferred but not essential) 

  • Strong track record in a global operations or customer service function 

  • Able to develop, initiate, and execute international processes 

  • Excellent organizational skills 

  • Experience in a high-growth environment 

  • Tactical and strategic with strong data analysis skills 

  • Able to drive continuous improvement initiatives 

  • Able to influence team members 

  • Able to resolve day-to-day operational issues 

  • Experience in the medical devices space or a regulated environment desirable 

  • Knowledge of ERP systems desirable 

  • Experience with logistics 

  • Resilient and comfortable with fast-paced environments/periods of change 

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Comfortable with travel (when permitted)
