Our client, a well-respected medical device company specialising in surgical technologies, is currently looking for several Country Product Specialists to join their well-established sales team in Hamburg, Berlin, and Munich.   


The company

We’re working on behalf of a rapidly growing, international medical device company. With a product portfolio ranging from urology to general surgery, ENT to obstetrics, they specialise in surgical technologies for minimally invasive surgeries and are known for having a fantastic reputation in the market and offering an excellent training programme and company culture. The company are at a phase of expansion and growth, so this is an incredible opportunity to join a collaborative team and a forward-thinking organisation as they look to dominate the minimally invasive surgical space!


The role

As Country Product Specialist, you’ll develop sales strategies and define tactical implementation of our clients’ product portfolio within your territory. You will effectively introduce new products and work with a variety of stakeholders to achieve set business goals.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing sales opportunities for innovative medical devices 

  • Defining optimal sales and branding strategies 

  • Supporting the local sales teams with new product implementation 

  • Determining product performance and market development opportunities 

  • Following and reporting on market and sales trends 

  • Creating monthly reports on market analysis 

  • Providing support at monthly congresses  

  • Providing monthly training courses internally, externally, nationally, and internationally  


The requirements

You’ll have at least 8 years’ experience within a marketing role, clinical development, or sales, as well as…

  • Master’s degree or equivalent

  • Proven track record in sales implementation 

  • Experience with technical medical devices

  • International experience is preferred  

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Fluent in English and German  

  • Strong computer literacy skills (MS Office) 

  • Strong organisational skills and able to manage a territory

  • Willing and flexible to travel up to 80% 


This role is home based with frequent travel throughout the region (80%) and occasional international travel.
