Do you have prior experience in a cybersecurity software business? Our client’s content marketing team is seeking a skilled wordsmith to help craft and promote high-value, compelling content to technology prospects and customers. Within this role as a Content Writer and Social Media Manager, you will have a knack for turning complex ideas into clear, concise language and a strong understanding of what resonates with audiences and creating buzz.

The role 

Within this role, you will grasp technical concepts quickly and communicate the details accurately and in a way that is engaging and clear. The goals for this position include fostering brand awareness, increasing organic web traffic, growing social media engagement, producing valuable content, and supporting lead-generation activities.  

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Maintaining a rigorous content schedule 

  • Producing content suited to key technology decision-makers 

  • Recognising and proposing new content ideas 

  • Facilitating content translations for audiences across the globe 

  • Developing and executing growth strategies for all social media channels 

  • Producing internal and external newsletters 

  • Curating news articles for a variety of audiences 

  • Supporting ongoing content SEO 

  • Upholding and improving our client’s tone of voice 


The requirements 

You will be a self-starter with 5+ years of demonstrated B2B content marketing experience, as well as… 

  • 2 years of strategically managing B2B social media communications 

  • Prior experience in a cybersecurity business  

  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and transform them into easily understood language 

  • A passion for writing, storytelling, and creative messaging 

  • A portfolio of published B2B content, preferably technology related 

  • Working knowledge of the buyer journey, SEO, Google Analytics and WordPress 

  • The ability to edit and proofread  

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills 

  • Manages well with juggling competing priorities and tight deadlines  

  • Assertive communication skills 

  • Comfortable working in independent and team environments and across time zones 

  • Comfortable giving and receiving constructive criticism  

  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically 1-3 times per year
