This an exciting time to join our clients as they continue to break new ground and disrupt the way minimally invasive surgery is performed around the world. Our client is seeking a highly curious, and outgoing self-starting Commercial Executive to join their team in Paris.  

The company 

Our client is a disruptive player in the rapidly growing surgical robotics space. They produce state-of-the-art robotics for the minimally invasive surgery space that is set to change the face of surgery forever. They have a close-knit and family-orientated culture in the business so they’re passionate about finding people that will fit in with their mission to make the next generation of surgical robots. Their robot will improve patient care and greatly impact the healthcare market, from surgeons to patients alike. 

 
The role 

As Commercial Executive, you will work to meet challenging sales targets in line with the company business plan and be a part of a multi-skilled team that will drive sales. You will focus on supporting and driving commercial excellence and engage with a variety of healthcare stakeholders to commercialise the next generation of robotic-assisted surgery devices.

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Achieving demanding commercial targets 

  • Uncovering and creating new commercial opportunities 

  • Selling to health care providers and within healthcare structures and frameworks 

  • Changing the model of how robotic systems are sold within the healthcare system 

  • Creating long term relationships with stakeholders 

  • Working within the Operating Room environment to support the systems 

  • Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction ratings 

The requirements 

You’ll have an awareness and understanding of robotic surgery, both laparoscopic and open surgery is important, as well as…

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline

  • Strong commercial experience in Medical Devices & capital equipment  

  • Comfortable in an operating room environment and can face the “sight of blood” 

  • Able to understand complex concepts quickly 

  • Driven by learning and inherently self-disciplined 

  • Strong computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office) 

  • Highly curious, outgoing, and able to demonstrate a self-starter attitude  

  • Comfortable working in teams as this will be a fundamental part of this role 

  • Fluent in French and have an excellent professional knowledge of English 

  • Flexible in work hours, weekends and open to being called to action at short notice 

  • Based in or live near Paris, France and willing to travel internationally
