Job description

Do you have experience selling cloud, digital or emerging enterprise technologies? Our client, a globally renowned SaaS software vendor, is currently looking for a charismatic and engaging Cloud Account Manager to join their team across the DACH region.

The role 

As a Cloud Account Manager, you will drive our client’s transformation from on-prem to purely cloud-based solutions. You’ll come up with and execute a sales strategy designed to drive business growth, focusing on expanding existing accounts as well as hunting for new business. Relationships sit at the heart of this role as you’ll work closely with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their specific needs. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Building upon long-term partnerships with customers and blazing new trails within their organisations

  • Formulating and executing a SaaS sales strategy within your assigned region and driving revenue growth 

  • Working both insides of large existing accounts as well as hunting to build new relationships in a set of assigned named accounts 

  • Collaborating with various teams across the company to achieve business objectives 

  • Expanding our client’s partner network 

  • Working with CXOs from large enterprises and start-ups 

 

The requirements 

You’ll have at least 5 years of experience in selling technology solutions, as well as: 

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline  

  • Outstanding quota attainment history and track record in selling SaaS 

  • Comprehensive understanding and curiosity for cloud, digital and emerging enterprise technologies 

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering outcomes to clients within complex and demanding operating environments 

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced SaaS product company 

  • Positive can-do attitude with a growth mindset 

  • Able to work in a matrix environment  

  • Results orientated with a high level of business intelligence and commercial acumen 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish a level of influence

  • Organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
