Our client is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to join their team in Norway and sell their exciting range of vascular products. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with medical sales experience looking for a meaningful career.

Our client is a family-owned company that continues to storm the endoscopy market. They develop and distribute devices for minimally invasive procedures and deliver products to hospitals and doctors around the world. They demand the highest standards of quality, ethics, and service in all they do and are not afraid to speak up when something should be done differently in the interest of patients and progress.

 
The role

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for increasing the sales and profitability of our client’s vascular portfolio across Norway. You will provide hands on clinical support and technical training to both clinical customers and the team, becoming the clinical expert within the team and maintaining active relationships with key stakeholders.  

Other responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily contact, case planning and support 

  • Helping staff to achieve successful outcomes using the vascular devices 

  • Executing product rollouts 

  • Seeking and evaluating new product ideas 

  • Uncovering opportunities within the account  

  • Keeping up to date on developments and trends within the product portfolio  

  • Distributing new and updated product information  

  • Providing written reports to the Regional Business Manager as appropriate 

  • Developing an excellent knowledge of the product portfolio and other possible devices  

 

The requirements

You’ll have relevant experience in a clinical support role, as well as…

  • Knowledge of relevant clinical procedures  

  • Ability to interpret clinical data 

  • Highly organised and able to confidently undertake multiple projects

  • Self-motivated 

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Able to present coherently to customers and other decision-makers

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) 

  • Excellent numeric skills 

  • Strong computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office suite)

  • Full driving license and ability to travel across the territory (3-4 overnights per week)
