Our client is currently looking for a Clinical Specialist to join their team in the South West and provide clinical support to the sales process for a portfolio of surgical medical devices.

 

The company

Our client is a well-respected, dynamic medical device organisation who specialise in surgical energy devices. Their mission is to provide innovative energy products that are used in surgical procedures around the world. They are supported by a strong research and development arm, joining forces with leading universities and hospitals in product development processes.

 

The role

As a Clinical Specialist you’ll support the team in the South West with the clinical training of surgeons, operating room staff and procurement departments across the NHS and private hospitals on an innovative portfolio of surgical energy products. This is a fast-paced role that provides a fantastic foundation for a career in medical device sales – if you have a scrub, theatre, physiotherapy or other healthcare background this is the perfect opportunity to transition into a more commercial role.

 

The requirements

Our client is looking for someone who is driven and eager to develop a career in the medical device sales space. They want someone who has good clinical knowledge gained in a healthcare environment who’s looking to move into a clinical specialist role.

This role covers predominantly Devon, Cornwall and Somerset however travel is required across the South West territory. The ideal candidate location is Devon/Somerset.

Requirements:

  • Live within the designated territory and able to travel across the South West regularly
  • Previous experience in the NHS, theatre or other clinical environment desirable
  • Understanding of human anatomy and physiology (either through experience or academia)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Good presentation skills
  • Outgoing and eager to excel in a medical device role
  • Able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Full UK driving licence
