My client is a well-respected, innovative and dynamic medical device player who specialise within surgical energy devices which are used in a multitude of surgical procedures.

The role

I am seeking Clinical Specialist to join the team and support across the South West region. This role will have responsibilities to provide training to surgeons, operating room staff and procurement departments across the NHS and private hospitals.

The hiring manager is seeking to recruit a personable, enthusiastic and eager candidate who can manage a fast-paced role within a technical capacity.

This role can look to provide you with the foundations of a career in the medical industry and progress into various areas within the business, such as sales and product management.

If you have a theatre/scrub background or experience gained across a physiotherapy or healthcare background, this could be highly transferable to this position. 

This position will look to cover Devon, Cornwall and Somerset mainly, however, you will also be required to support surrounding areas of South Wales and Bristol so the succesful individual must be willing to undertake frequent travel. Ideal location of the successful individual will be in either the Devon or Somerset regions.

The requirements

You will live within the designated territory, but aside from this you will also have:

  • Previous experience gained in NHS, theatre or other clinical environment – desired
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to organise your own diary
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish relationships quickly
  • Basic understanding of the human anatomy and physiology etiher through experience or academia
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence and be flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
