Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our client is seeking a Clinical Specialist to join their IV and Cannulation division on a 1-year contract in the Southwest UK.

The role 

As a Clinical Specialist, you will support the sales team in developing sales opportunities and achieving territory budget targets which may also include: 

  • Maintaining clinical expertise in all aspects of IV therapy, vascular access, and infection prevention 

  • Delivering reliable information and education to customers and associates 

  • Providing scientific and technical support to customers and internal teams 

  • Developing key regional advocates and refer potential KOL’s 

  • Working with key customers, developing local forums and study days when required 

The requirements 

You’ll have clinical cannulation experience gained in an area with high frequency short term peripheral cannulations. Other requirements include…  

  • Registered Nurse / Midwife or Operating Department Practitioner with current UK registration 

  • Hold a recognised teaching/assessing qualification, ENB 998 or equivalent experience 

  • Experience with Vascular Access, IV Therapy and infection prevention 

  • Strong track record of clinical success in the private medical or NHS Environment  

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Dynamic and results orientated  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage interactions with stakeholders 

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently  

  • Flexible and willing to travel extensively across your dedicated territory (Southwest and Wales)
