The company 

Our client is a disruptive player in the rapidly growing surgical robotics space. They produce state-of-the art robotics for the minimally invasive surgery space that are set to change the face of surgery forever. Their robot will improve patient care and have a huge impact on the healthcare market, from surgeons to patients alike.   


The role 

As a Clinical Specialist you will become an expert in our clients’ product portfolio and provide a concierge-style service to those working closely with the system. You will provide ongoing advice and guidance to maximise awareness and utilisation of the system.   

As you develop, you will be responsible for mentoring new members of the team as well as hiring future colleagues.  


Responsibilities include: 

  • Building a deep understanding of the product portfolio  

  • Delivering against contracted Service Level Agreements with customers 

  • Building lasting and engaging relationships with stakeholders 

  • Consulting with hospital operational management and theatre teams 

  • Deploying CAPA to improve related processes 

  • Undertaking case support and troubleshooting for surgical teams 

  • Delivering an unparalleled customer experience 

  • Representing the business at conferences and exhibitions nationally and internationally  


The requirements 

You’ll have field based clinical support experience within the medical device industry, as well as… 


  • Life Science degree or equivalent  

  • Experience of Minimal Access Surgery, Navigation or Robotics  

  • Demonstrate robust product knowledge  

  • Able to function within an executive business environment 

  • Demonstrate commitment to customer and peer training 

  • Proven track record of cooperating across functions 

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment  

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently  

  • Strong organisational skill and ability to manage a territory 

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internally  

  • Fluent in German (native speaker equivalent) 


This is a field-based role, so you are required to have a driving license and access to your own car.
