An exciting opportunity for the position of Clinical Specialist within our client’s BioSurgery & Infection Prevention division has arisen within the North of England.

The role 

As Clinical Specialist BioSurgery and Infection Prevention you will develop a thorough understanding of haemostasis and infection control/prevention within the company’s product portfolio and their indications across theatre based and infection control stakeholders. You will fully support and develop the UK business and ensure you create a comprehensive awareness and environment with each customer on the value and role of these topics.   

Responsibilities include: 

  • Building a deep understanding of the product portfolio  

  • Driving professional education and creating internal therapy champions 

  • Providing extensive field support of targeted accounts  

  • Conducting pre-evaluation, clinical training, and installation of the product 

  • Documenting reviews and feedback during the training 

  • Providing post purchase training  

  • Evaluating and assessing the product performance against protocol  

  • Supporting facilitation of peer-to-peer communications  

  • Identifying and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders  

The requirements 

You’ll have successful field based clinical support experience within the medical device industry, as well as… 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent  

  • Clinical background ideally in an Operating Theatre/Intensive Care or related environment 

  • Strong technical knowledge of theatre-based products 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills 

  • Dynamic and results orientated  

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage interactions with internal and external partners 

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently  

  • Flexible and willing to travel extensively across your dedicated territory
