Our client, a well-respected ophthalmology company is embarking on a new venture of operating private cataract surgery clinics across the UK. They are seeking a dynamic and professional project manager to oversee the complete process of bringing the first clinical from concept to operation.

With a reputation for quality, they are known for providing outstanding products to the healthcare market. The role 

As a Clinical Project Manager, you’ll plan and execute all the necessary activities to help support the setup of our client’s clinic and its success. Including the following: 

  • Identifying sites 

  • Researching and selecting contractors 

  • Monitoring performance 

  • Working across the stakeholder group 

  • Ensuring project compliance 

  • Developing operating procedures 

  • Preparing and presenting reports 

 

The requirements 

You will have previous project management experience at a high level in the medical sector, as well as… 

  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline

  • Strong understanding of the UK ophthalmic market 

  • Experience in medical regulation related to surgery and clinical governance 

  • An understanding of working in an environment with owner/investors 

  • Demonstrable leadership skills  

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Resilient, resourceful, and confident to work independently  

  • Detail-orientated, able to prioritise and analytical 

  • Able to operate with authority to senior management and other clinical staff  
     

This role is national and so there is no requirement for a particular location. Extensive travel and overnight stays will be highly likely.
