The company

Our client provides a myriad of distinct shop floor and supply chain solutions to many of the aerospace and defense industry’s largest manufacturers. Integrated into one software suite, their product synchronises data and enables collaboration between internal and external teams. From shop floor to top floor, these solutions deliver real-time information that simplifies complex manufacturing and provides product and process improvement.

 
The role

As Client Partner, you’ll support the pre-sales activities for our client’s professional services engagements. You’ll be responsible for defining the scope of projects and all that falls within them (including schedules, costs and objectives), as well as determining pricing for opportunities. This is a core role in the business and you’ll work closely with team members across the company, supporting the growth of the team. Customers are also at the heart of this role, you’ll build strong relationships with your clients, providing solutions that deliver the very best in value for them. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Supporting the pre-sales process for professional services 

  • Selling and promotion professional services 

  • Developing solution proposals for customers  

  • Developing deployment plans that deliver value for customers 

  • Working with sales teams to undertake quarterly planning 

  • Positioning and mapping business capabilities 

  • Leveraging existing relationships to expand new business opportunities 

  • Creating profitable revenue growth 

  • Building strong, strategic relationships with customers to ensure long-term business 

  • Creating and submitting service booking forecasts 

 

The requirements

You’ll have over 7 years’ experience in the integration and implementation of systems and professional services, working for an enterprise software vendor. Other requirements include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject (or equivalent work experience) 

  • Demonstrable success in software/systems integration 

  • Strong commercial acumen  

  • Good leadership skills 

  • Able to confidently communicate at all levels, including senior 

  • Experience working in professional services 

  • Motivated and able to perform under pressure 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both written and verbal) 

  • Experience with MES software and Aerospace and Defence industries desirable 

  • Skilled in conflict resolution 

  • Ability to travel when required
