A global construction vendor is currently looking for a charismatic Channel Sales Manager to become a remote member of their team in Germany, serving the DACH region.

The role 

This role offers an excellent opportunity to propel our client’s SaaS solutions across the German market. As a Channel Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for the development and execution of all sales plans and the achievement of all sales goals. You will manage multiple channels of distribution and drive long-term strategic goals and initiatives with the distribution channel. You will be empowered to operate autonomously and reap the rewards of this through both financial and career rewards. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Developing and cultivating a trained distributor network  

  • Driving accountability for regional market action plans 

  • Initiating and leading with partners to build strong relationships 

  • Producing accurate revenue forecasts 

  • Delivering upon business plans across the region 

  • Conducting strategic business reviews on a regular basis 

  • Exhibiting company values and always maintaining a professional image 

  • Collaborating with marketing to support demand generation activities 


The requirements 

You’ll have 5+ years of channel sales management experience, with a strong understanding of local market needs, as well as: 

  • Degree level educated in technical engineering or business-related field 

  • Knowledge of current reseller channels in the AEC market 

  • Mechanical and educational aptitude 

  • Strong relationship building skills 

  • An understanding of technology products and their value to the customer 

  • Experience with sales management systems (i.e., Salesforce) 

  • Computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google applications) 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to manage and organise multiple projects at one time  

  • Solid work ethic and a proven track record of delivering results 

  • Comfortable in an environment of ambiguity and change 

  • Passionate about new developments in construction technology 

  • Fluent in German is essential and another language is a plus 

  • Flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally
