Do you want to sell solutions that are currently shaping the future of manufacturing? Our client is looking for an ambitious Channel Sales Engineer to join their sales team and accelerate sales growth across Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. 

The company 

Established over 75 years ago, our client is a global test equipment manufacturer who provides solutions across a wide spectrum of industries, from electronics to aerospace. They produce specialist testing machines to test the properties of materials and components in different environments. Its mission is to provide its customers with expert support and world-class service.  

The role 

As a Channel Sales Engineer, you will focus on penetrating our client’s market opportunity by creating effective sales strategies that expand the customer base in target areas. You’ll liaise closely with partners and position our client’s products and services to meet their specific business requirements. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 

  • Building strong relationships with customers to gain a closer awareness of their priorities 

  • Devising detailed account plans for existing markets and customers 

  • Providing customer meetings and executing product demonstrations 

  • Maintaining expert knowledge of market  trends and industry applications 

  • Adding value to customers and partners through the supply of services and knowledge 

  • Hitting quarterly and annual growth targets 


The requirements 

You’ll have 3+ years’ experience of capital equipment sales experience, ideally within an international environment, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline 

  • Background in supplying advanced industrial measurement systems 

  • Experience in selling into automotive supply chains is desirable 

  • Capable of managing complex sales processes throughout to ensure successful delivery 

  • Familiar with CRM and quoting tool applications  

  • Able to work cross-culturally 

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively 

  • Innovative and able to resolve challenges 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Positive, driven and results orientated 

  • Flexible and willing to travel
