Are you an extremely self-motivated and target oriented individual? Our client is looking for a Channel Manager to join their team in the UK and drive the whole sales funnel for their cinema products. 

The company 

A market leader, our client is focused on implementing innovative optical technologies into their range of high-value and high-tech capital equipment systems. They are a world-renowned German manufacturer with a reputation for delivering gold-standard technologies. 


The role 

As Channel Manager, you’ll identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, and improve profitability of the cinema and photo products within the UK and Ireland. Through developing relationships with users, and influencers, your work will activate sales, strengthen the brand and products within the market, and deliver commercial offers.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Planning and executing commercial and marketing activities 

  • Building and maintaining a dense network of users within the cinema industry 

  • Strengthening relationships with our client’s key dealers  

  • Ensuring optimal instore execution (off and online) 

  • Executing launches, campaigns, and promotions 

  • Attending trade shows, events, and product trainings across the UK (occasionally in other countries (mainly Europe and USA) 

The requirements 

You will have a strong knowledge of the cinematography market and applications. Other requirements include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject  

  • Previous sales and account management experience  

  • Deep knowledge of the CINE / Photo retail channel 

  • Good understanding of the decision chain 

  • Proven experience in accelerating Ecommerce retail sales  

  • Able to explain and present confidently (in person and virtually)  

  • Very strong networking skills  

  • Willingness to solve customers’ issues  

  • Excellent analytical and time management skills  

  • Basic knowledge of CRM and Microsoft office  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • UK driving licence and a valid passport  

  • Domestic and international travel may be required
